My Holidays/Immersion assembly

This morning we had an Immersion assembly. The prefects, the principal, and the other admissions were leading it. We had to livestream it for the whole school to see. Each team (Year group) was to learn something new from our korero for the term. The korero is KARAWIUA, which means keeping fit, staying healthy, and having a healthy lifestyle. This term Team 5 (My Team) is going to learn how to get better at a new skill.

During the holidays I did a lot of interesting stuff during the holidays.  For example me and my family went to take a professional family photo  with good photographers, it took 50 mins – 1hr to finish it. And after that we got to eat PIZZA, that was my highlight. My lowlight was missing out on some of my rugby games for a club for 2 weeks in a row.

 

The other goal I made last term was to get every sports award for every sport I play. My new goal is to achieve better heights in both education and sports.

My Inquiry Play

 

 

For Inquiry our teachers wanted us to memorise and act out a play. Honestly, I don’t think my group did THAT well. I didn’t even memorize the script of our play, on top of that my group didn’t even know the lines. It was very hard considering we were missing one of our group members, we had to change ALL OF THE ROLES, I had to memorize Eleni’s, and her script was pretty difficult to remember because she had the most lines.   I felt a bit embarrassed after that, but at least we showed up to do it. To be honest, it was pretty fun, minus the fact that we didn’t memorise our script and our costumes weren’t fitting with the play.  But at least I had fun, it was a very cool experience.
